All services are tailored to your family's needs. The fees provided below are the base fee which may be different then your invoiced fee depending on the circumstances.
A service agreement will provide the specifics of your service's fee structure used for invoicing.
FAMILY MEDIATION
Family mediation creates a structured and non-prejudicial (confidential) space to attempt to make agreements and arrangements outside of court.
The mediator acts as a neutral facilitator making logistical arrangements, guiding the process and documenting agreements.
Commonly mediated family issues include parenting plans/arrangements, separation/divorce, cohabitation agreements and disputes amongst siblings and extended family. Significant resolutions is often achieved with ten hours of mediation.

SUPERVISED/SUPPORTED
PARENTING TIME
Supervised Parenting Time manages contact between adults and children with the goals of providing safe and meaningful time for children with their parent who is being supervised.
The supervisor facilitates logistical arrangements, exchanges of care, ensures child safety and creates objective/factual documentation.
Supervision is done in the
community or in home.
Partnered with Teh Stratton when logistics or circumstances are best supported by a team approach.
$100+GST for the first hour

CO-PARENT COACHING
Co-parent coaching works with parents to facilitate communication, problem solve and provide an outside perspective on co-parenting issues.
Coaching offers support to parents to reduce friction in implementing and maintaining parenting plans.
Coaching can monitor and intervene as disagreements develop.
Coaching is not a replacement for mediation, counselling, parent coordination or qualified legal services.
$150+GST per hour

PARENT-TEEN MEDIATION/COACHING
Parent-Teen mediation combines mediation processes and private social working to facilitate communication, understanding and agreements between parents and their children with follow on support and/or referals.
Parent-Teen mediation begins with individual and group discussions to understand the issues and the effects on the family. I then create a family plan focuses on practical actions and steps the family can take and
provide the neccesary support
to put your plan into action.

CHILD PROTECTION MEDIATION
Child protection mediation is typically between parents and the Ministry of Children and Family Development child protection workers. It is a voluntary process that the family, worker or lawyers can request directly.
The mediator acts as a neutral facilitator making logistical arrangements, guiding the process and documenting agreements.
Commonly mediated issues include parenting time with children, family service plans, terms and conditions of reunification, terms and conditions of supervision, permanency plans,
and communication between families
and their workers.
Child protection mediation is arranged through the Mediate BC Child Protection Mediation Program (CPMP). More information is available here MediateBC

S.202 REPORTS
VIEWS OF THE CHILD
Non-evaluative reports provide a verbatim record of a child's thoughts on a family dispute without analysis
or recommendations. Each child is interviewed twice preferable while alternating which caregiver is providing care at the time of the interview.
Evaluative Reports include additional verbatim interview information from parents and collaterals and may provide analysis and recommendations based on the interviews intended to open pathways towards resolution.
In addition to child interviews I interview all caregivers and
at least two collaterals.

S.211 REPORTS
BRIEF/FOCUSED
These reports are commonly referred to as brief or focused s.211 reports
and are limited in scope to specific questions and issues.
Focused s.211 reports are intensive, evaluative and can include extensive interviewing, observed parenting and assessment of collateral information. Recommendations for further assessments and services may given.
These are not full or comprehensive s.211 reports which typically include psychology testing and give recommendations on ultimate issues.
It is difficult to provide a costs estimate without specifics. A report regarding a single child would require at minimum interviews of the child, parents, collaterals and observed parenting sessions using at minimum 18 billable hours inclusive of drafting.

Family Problem Solver
Some family issues don't fit into

creative problem solving.
Throughout my career, and especially as a professional family case manager, I was responsible for meeting families in crisis, assessing their needs, making plans and referrals and implementing those plans effectively.
This service is difficult to define other than if your family is struggling then call me and I'll make an assessment of what can be done to help.
